How to read this primary bag?
This bag is the start point of all bags I built. I use BagTheWeb to organize my online information. On the other hand, this is the door of my personal knowledge networks.
BagTheWeb is a great tool which integrates three daily web applications, namely bookmarking, personal publishing, and information sharing.
Tim Berners-Lee said on TED 2009, “It's not just about the number of places where data comes, it's about connecting it together. And when you connect data together, you get power in a way that doesn't happen just with the web, with documents. You get this really huge power out of it. ” That’s very true. BagTheWeb focuses on the link the relationship between webpages, not URLs of webpages.
By using BagTheWeb, I can build my personal information network easily.
First, l collect my web 2.0 stuff under linked webpages section.
Second, I create several second-level bags covering my favorite topics such as knowledge-focused issues and information-focused issues.
The following image shows two groups of my favorite topics. There are five bags covering branding, education, social change, web, and start-ups in the green field. These five bags are for my knowledge interest. Another group of bags in the blue field are on people, interest and hobbies, and my life. These bags collect information that I am interest in.
I will create more bags under these high level bags. I wish you enjoy reading and commenting on my bags.
