Hockey Equipment Recommendations

I have played hockey for 40 years including two years of Division 1 college hockey. Here's my men's hockey equipment recommendations for no-check adult play. Your hockey skates, hockey stick, and gloves are the most important items for a great experience. On-line hockey retailer, Hockey Monkey, has very low prices if you can figure out your sizing in advance. Reliable sizing charts for all equipment:

I have strong preference for Bauer (except skates-Graf) because they've consistently had great product for decades. Helmet, jersey, pants, shoulder pads, elbow pads, and knee pads should be lightweight and relatively cheap. You don't need heavy protection if you're playing no-check hockey.
