Evernote is a teriffic tool for students as well, helping them collect and organize information for classes and projects.
can be installed on any device--PC, Mac, ipad, ipod touch, android--to curate articles, posts and photos. These can be combined into great looking Flipboard magazines by teachers and/or students and the magazines can also be created collaboratively.

allows one to curate web resources with thumbnail links to websites. Different topics can be curated on individual pages and accessed with tabs. Tabs can be hidden or revealed, public or private.

is like a blank wall that you can put anyone on. It can be used collaboratively to curate teaching ideas, quotations, brainstormed ideas, links to any web resource, image or document, videos, podcasts, etc.

allows you to earch thousands of expert-vetted educational apps, videos, and websites. As resources are found on appoLearning, you can create and share. Curated lists are called collections, and you can also search for collections created by others. You can collect your own resources on a specific topic including those not already in the database.. Other resources that can be added to Collections Include links from Dropbox, Google Docs, and any public resource that is URL addressable. Additionally, Collection creators can upload files (quizzes, lesson plans, etc.) to include in their collections. Create your own collections or search those created by others. is a visual and collaborative curation tool that allows users to collect, organize and share any URL they find online as well as to upload personal photos and notes. It has a unique visual interface that allows users to drag and organize collected URLs into units called pearls that themselves can be further organized in a hierarchical structure called pearltrees.

Pindex is an online platform that creates and curates educational videos and infographics for teachers and students.
Surfmark
is a collaborative online research platform that enables users to add notes and highlight content directly onto exact copies of Web pages, which is automatically organized for easy reference and updating.

Symbaloo
lets you organize all of your favorite websites as tiles on a grid called a webmix. The user can drag and drop items to organize them in a way that is convenient and practical. TIles can also link to RSS feeds or videos. Webmixes can be shared or private, and you can search for and use tiles and webmixes created by others.

lets you add images, videos, audio tracks, weblinks and more to any image. Great visual technique to share selected artifacts. Students or teacher select the most relevant resources to add to the image.
Wakelet
Save links to articles, images, videos, tweets and other content to curate shareable collections called wakes

Create collections on any topic or search for those created by others. "Access relevant content faster through community validated, curated collections of websites, documents, and videos."
